What DepthPlayer does

DepthPlayer is a media player for Meta Quest 3 and Quest 3S. It plays the videos and photos you already own and displays them in 3D by estimating depth for each frame on the headset itself — no PC, no uploads, and no account with us.

How it works

• Open a video or photo from your headset, your own media server, or a cloud drive you connect yourself.
• The app estimates depth for each frame on-device and renders a stereoscopic view in real time.
• Your files are never modified, never uploaded, and never shared.

Why DepthPlayer asks for access

When you connect Google Drive, DepthPlayer requests read-only access to your Drive so it can show your folders and play the videos you pick. It does not modify, move, or delete files, and it does not access Gmail, Contacts, Calendar, or any other Google service. Connecting OneDrive uses read-only access for the same reason. You can disconnect an account at any time in the app, which deletes the stored tokens.

What DepthPlayer is not

DepthPlayer does not create, synthesize, edit, or alter images or video. It does not swap faces, and it has no social, publishing, or sharing features. It only displays media that you already have, converting the existing frames for stereo viewing on your own headset.

Requirements

• Meta Quest 3 or Quest 3S
• No sign-in is required to view this page, and cloud drives are optional — they connect directly to the provider you choose.
